Business is Not Difficult, Just Make The Bell on the Till Ring

Easy when there are customers, but what if your customer base has fallen away, your products or services seem to be ‘out of sorts’, what’s gone wrong? Can we really blame the economic turndown every time or is there something else happening within your business? Or is it you? Take a look at yourself; ask family and friends what they think of your behaviour. Are you tired, short tempered, forgetful, if any of these then perhaps a trip to the doctor is called for, just to be sure. It is however more likely to be stress, burnout, which means you are not functioning fully. The consequences of this, is that they are impacting upon the business, it happens particularly when you are a Sole Trader or a family business. Perhaps you haven’t noticed that its years since you last painted the place; cleaned the workbench or desk. How about that Notice Board, are there still 2011’s notices need to be taken down? This applies to Shop windows as well. First get yourself ‘sorted’ if that’s the case, then take a weekend or two to clean, paint and rejuvenate the premises. You will find a new lease of life and once again you will enjoy coming into your place of business, and it will be certainly noticed by your customers. It’s all part of Customer Service, you, your premises, your attitude. A Spring Clean is just the ticket.
